Only difference from google gmaps service seems to be that the zoom value is in the reversed order. I made fix, including automatic tests and tested it with the mobile client and it seems to work fine. I try now to attach the patch here, based on 0.8.0 release. Please include it to the SVN and future revision.

Usage in MGMaps client: Menu > Settings > Map Types, Menu > Add Custom Map. Enter map Type URL: http://localhost:8080/geowebcache/service/mgmaps?layers=topp:states&
